After Jared left, Lisa opened her eyes slowly and rolled toward me. She then gave me a long, passionate kiss. “Thank you Steve, I love you……do you still love me?

I looked into her eyes, kissed her on the lips and said, “I’ll always love you, Lisa.”

I got a blanket and covered us, then, we went to sleep. We slept until late the next morning. When I awoke, I quietly got out of bed and went to the shower. I was thinking about the preceding evening and how much I had enjoyed it. I was still a little amazed at what I had felt while the evening proceeded, watching my best friend fuck the woman I loved and how it had turned me on more.

I stood under the rainstorm shower head. I closed my eyes and just let the hot water run across my body….it felt so good. Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my torso and a head lay against my back. I opened my eyes and turned around to see Lisa standing there smiling at me. She put her arms around my neck and slowly kissed me. In her kiss, I could feel her deep passion and love.

“Good morning,” she said to me. “Do you still love me, do you still want me to move here with you?”

I pulled her close and kissed her and said, “Yes, on both counts.”

We stayed in the shower for some time, just holding each other, enjoying each other. When I got out, Lisa finished cleaning herself. I went to the kitchen and fixed breakfast. While we ate breakfast, we talked about the events of last night.

“Steve, one thing I want to tell you, that was the first time I ever did something like that. It was fun, but, I don’t know if I want to do it again. That’s something I’m going to have to think about and talk with you about. I’ve never had so much pleasure at one time, it was almost unbearable.”

“I know what you mean, Lisa. I feel a lot the same way. It was a real turn on watching Jared with you. I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything quite like it. I do think that we should think about it, then, have another conversation before we consider doing it again.”

When we finished breakfast, I did the dishes while Lisa went to the bedroom to pack for her return trip to Dallas. I really didn’t want her to go, but I knew that the sooner she went back, the sooner she would be here…..with me.

When she came out of the bedroom, I asked her, “Do you want me to go to Dallas with you and help you move?”

“That’s not necessary, Steve, I called a moving company this morning and made arrangements for them to come and pack things and move them here. What you can do, though, is find me an administrative assistant. I’m going to need someone when I get back….can you do that for me?”

“Oh yes, I know a few gals that would be perfect for the position. I’ll get in touch with them while you’re gone. When do you plan on being back here?”

“I think I should be back here on Thursday or Friday. You know I’ll be in touch with you while I’m gone. I don’t think I can spend a day without hearing your voice.”

I picked up her bag and followed her out to her car and put it in the trunk. She came to me and kissed me. “I don’t really want to go, but I guess I have to. I’ll be thinking about you, Steve, I do love you, very, very much.” She got into her car and went down the lane to the county road. I watched as the dust cloud blew away.

I went out to the deck and sat down, gazing out across the ranch. The morning air is cool and many thoughts are running through my head. I am so lucky to have found the woman I want to be with the rest of my life but I also know that life, as I’ve known it, will never be the same….many changes have happened and many more are yet to come.

I had a sandwich and a beer for lunch and decided to go for a drive. I would go saddle Tramp and take a ride, but my cock is so sore I don’t think I could sit a saddle for very long. I wonder how Jared feels today. I grin as I think that his cock is probably as sore as mine. While I’m grinning about Jared, my cell phone rings and guess what, it’s Jared.

“Hello,” I said, “Steve here.”

“Hi Steve, its Jared, how are you today?”

“I’m doing as well as can be expected.” I replied.

“Are we ok, Steve, I mean….after last night, we still friends?”

“Jared, I told you last night, what we did last night, Lisa and I wanted. You and I are just like we always been…..best friends. I’m going out for a drive, you want to come?” I thought I’d take a drive, maybe drink a few beers. Maybe go over to Medina Lake and look around. Want to come?”

“I might as well, not doing anything today. I’d like to spend the afternoon with you.”

“That’s great, I’ll be by to pick you up in about 15 minutes. I’ve got a 12 pack of Coors Light ided down, if you think we might need more, I’m sure you have a 12er or two laying around.”

“Yeah, I’ll bring another 12er just in case……see you in a few.”

I grabbed the cooler and put it in the back seat of my truck and went to pick Jared up. I’m glad he’s going with me, it’ll give us a chance to talk. It’s been a while since we spent any time together… we used to do it all the time. It sometimes surprises me how busy we all get. I’m done being too busy. After Lisa moves here, I will not let her feel like I’m too busy to do anything with her. After all, I do have two very capable kids to take care of the ranch, day to day.

When I arrive at Jared’s house, he is waiting out front with a sack in one hand and a 12 pack of Bud Light in the other. “It’s about time you got here,” he joked.

“Aw, get your ass in and let’s get on the road…..what’s in the bag?”

“Just some snacks, in case we get hungry. Did Lisa head back to Dallas this morning?”

“Yup, she left around 11, her plane leaves about 1. I think she’ll be back on Thursday or Friday. It kind of depends on how quick she can get her stuff loaded up and get on the way.”

“She is a real find, Steve. You’re a lucky guy to have a gal like her. I mean, she’s beautiful and smart and sexy……I mean I’ve never met a gal like her…she’s got it all. Are you guys really serious?”

“We’re exploring our feelings for each other. Like last night, I think we explored how much we think and trust one another. I had no idea how I’d feel, but I wanted to find out. She wants to have another threesome when she gets back, but this time with another woman as the third.”

“You’re one lucky son of a bitch….I’ve always dreamed female sandwich with me in the middle as the meat. Damn, you’re a lucky son of a bitch, Steve.”

“I laughed at Jared and shook my head, “I’ll tell you what, buddy, if I can work it out, sometime in the future I’ll arrange a threesome with you, Lisa and another woman…..just so you will know what it’s like. I’ll go do something that night so you’ll be the only piece of meat in the sandwich.”

“You’d do that for me, Steve? I mean, you’d let me do that and not want to be present?”

“I’d do that for you, buddy and not worry about it a bit. Just keep one thing in mind, don’t ever come sniffing around when I’m not at home or don’t start going by her office once she has it open….that might just break my trust in you. There’s a good possibility that Lisa and I will get married sometime, but if, in the future, she breaks it off with me for some reason or another, the door will be wide open. Is it a deal?”

“I won’t break your trust in me Steve, believe me, it won’t ever happen.”

We arrived at Medina Lake and went to the marina. An old friend of mine owns it and I figured I could rent a boat from him for an hour or so. Sure enough, he had just bought a new ski boat and it was tied up in a slip. He told me that there was no way he’d rent it to me, but he’d let me take it for a spin if I wanted to. So, Jared and I grabbed the cooler and took off on a little tour of the lake. The boat was a brand new Supra SE with a 440 horsepower engine. This baby would really cruise along easy.

This boat was made for wake boarding. It had a feature that would make nice size wakes on either side. I don’t know what this equipment cost him, but I imagine it set him back a pretty penny. We played for about an hour then went back to the marina. I filled it with fuel and thanked Roger for letting us go out on it.

Jared and I headed back to Bandera. We would be back before dark. I know that I enjoyed this afternoon with him. He couldn’t thank me enough for including him last night. “You know, Steve, I haven’t been with a woman in over a year. I was seeing Samantha Bivins, till she took that job up in Austin. I guess I could go to Austin, but I just don’t do any business up there. Anyway, I think she wanted more out of the relationship than I could give her. There’s no way I’ll leave Donna, she still means a lot to me….hell, I’m not telling you anything, you’ve been there, only you lost Alexis. Look how long it’s taken you to get back in the saddle…it’s been a while. Most of us thought you’d never get over Alexis. It does us all good that you have finally moved on. She would have wanted you to, Steve.”

“You’re right Jared. I’m so thankful I had all my friends through that period of life. None of you know how much it meant to me. It just took me a while to finally realize that my life didn’t end and that Alexis would want me to continue living. She even told me that before she passed away. She told me not to ever forget her, but not to let her death stop my life. It took a while before I actually could. Now, look at me. I have found a very liberated woman that I love and that loves me. We’re going to give it a try and see how it works out.”

We got back to Bandera around 7 pm. I took Jared by his house and dropped him off. I didn’t feel like cooking, so I went to Maggie’s to have a steak before I went home. As luck would have it, Jill was waiting tables. She smiled at me when I walked in. “Hi Steve, what you been up to?”

“Not much, just work and a little play.”

“I heard you had a new friend, is she from around here?”

“No, she’s from Dallas. However, she is moving here soon. And to answer the question you are thinking, yes we are serious.”

“Well, damn…..I’m gonna miss you being free. It’s been a lot of fun and I was hoping for some more,” Jill replied.

“Well, we never know what tomorrow will bring, do we?” I told her.

“Just what does that mean, Steve? “Are you telling me that you might still be willing to have a little fun with me from time to time?” she quizzed me.

“Let’s just leave it that I’m in a serious relationship and not speculate till the time comes.”

I was thinking of that sandwich I had told Jared about. I think that Jill might just be a good candidate for that role. I know I wouldn’t mind being sandwiched between her and Lisa. That would be heavenly.

“Jill, just get me a t-bone, medium rare, baked potato and broccoli. Bring me a Coors Light also, please.”

“I’ll bring your beer right away and get the steak burning…..back in a short.”

She brought my beer in a few minutes. I sat there sipping it thinking about Lisa. My cell phone started ringing. I looked at it and saw that it was Lisa calling. “Hi babe, how are you this evening?”

“I just thought I’d give you a call and let you know I got home alright. I sure miss you Steve. I can’t wait to get back. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

“I’m missing you too, already. You just take your time and do it right, so you don’t have to go back for any reason. I know you’ll be gone from time to time, but that’s alright. We’ll work through those trips, maybe I can accompany you on a few of them. I’m glad the trip went ok without any problems. You know what, Lisa Swanson……I love you very much.”

“And I love you Steve Jamison. I need to go, I’m completely worn out after the trip to Dallas, but mostly because of last night. I don’t want to do a marathon like that again. I’m so sore today, I couldn’t hardly sit in my seat. It was fun though. You be good and I’ll talk to you tomorrow…..love you, Steve…..goodnight love.”

“Goodnight Lisa, sleep well.”

I hung up about the time my steak arrived. It didn’t take me long to wolf it down and get on the road to the house. I was looking forward to just sitting out on the deck and enjoying the evening.

When I got home, I took my cooler containing the remaining beer and sat it out on the deck. I went to my bedroom and changed into a t-shirt and shorts. I went out on the deck and opened a cold Coors and settled into a chaise lounge. I could hear the cows out in the pasture calling their calves home for the night. A coyote was howling off in the distance and the evening birds were singing. It was so peaceful.

My thoughts drifted back to Alexis. I wondered if she would approve of the lifestyle I had adopted. I knew that she was probably shaking her finger at me and saying I should cool it. But, I knew she wouldn’t want me to continue in the solitude that I had been in for these past years. I thought about Lisa and our whirlwind romance. How quickly it had happened. Somewhere in the back of my mind I wondered if she was sincere. I know that I shouldn’t think about things like that, but I also knew I had to be aware and keep my eyes open. Till I get to know her a lot better, I really need to not let my emotions move too fast. I need to just play this out and see if she is sincere in the long run.

As for the sexual odyssey, that’s something that I think will pass. I think after the new wears off, Lisa and I will settle down to just each other. I do believe that I can live with that, but, only time will tell. Till then, I’m going to ride this train and see where it goes.
